Dear players,
The contest for the best official trailer for Age of Astir has come to an end, and we are ready to share the results.
- Submissions are closed, and moderation / requirements checks have been completed.
- Some videos did not pass the formal criteria (structure, duration, technical quality, etc.).
- The final shortlist includes two trailers โ one in Russian and one in English.
- According to the rules, the RU and EN language brackets are evaluated independently.
- Each of these categories has a single finalist, so we will not be holding a separate community vote.
- Both finalists become the winners of their respective language brackets and will receive the announced prizes soon.
๐ How the finals went
After submissions closed, we carried out moderation: checking for the required elements, trailer length, image and sound quality, as well as compliance with the formats and the basic technical requirements of the contest.
As a result, only those trailers that fully matched the required structure
and did not violate the resource usage rules made it into the shortlist.
This left us with just two finalists
who submitted their entries in different language categories: RU and EN.
๐ณ Why there is no voting
Initially, we planned an open community vote based on the shortlist.
However, it is important to remember
that within this contest, trailers with different voiceover languages are evaluated in separate brackets
and do not directly compete with each other.
Since there is only one finalist in each of the two language directions (RU and EN), there is no real competition within those brackets anymore. In this situation, holding a vote would not make sense โ the winners are determined automatically as the best entries in their respective language categories.
